Arsenal-Aston Villa (4-0)

3000

The final game of the season. We need to win. If we win and Spurs lose, we will be able to celebrate St Totteringham’s Day, which is the day when it is no longer possible for Spurs to finish above us in the table. Five minutes into the game Alexis Sanchez flicked the ball to Nacho Monreal who crossed to Olivier Giroud who then headed the ball into the goal. GOAL!!! At half time it was Arsenal 1-Aston Villa 0, and at St James’ Park, where Spurs were playing Newcastle, the score was Newcastle 2-Tottenham 0.

After sixty-nine minutes, Arsenal made their first change. Mohamed Elneny came on and Jack Wilshere went off. In the seventy-eighth minute Giroud smashed the ball into the top corner. GOAL!!! Then two minutes later he scored again. HAT TRICK!!! Then Arsenal made a double change. Mikel Arteta came on for Mesut Özil,  and Santi Carzola was replaced by Joel Campbell. A few minutes later Arteta smashed the ball from outside the box and it hit the crossbar and deflected off the Aston Villa goalkeeper and went in. GOAL!!! It was the end of the season, Spurs had lost 5-1 to Newcastle, and we could finally celebrate St Totteringham’s Day!

Arsenal-West Ham (3-3)

West Ham kicked off. Early on in the game West Ham had a really close chance through Lanzini but the ref said he was offside. Andy Carroll was then booked for tackling Laurent Koscielny. Later on the same thing sort of happened: West Ham shot but it was offside. Then a few minutes later Mesut Özil scored! We were one nil up. A few minutes later we scored again! This time through Alexis Sanchez. Then Andy Carroll got a goal back for West Ham and then right on half time Andy Carroll scored again to level the match. The second half started. Not long after, Dimitri Payet’s shot was ruled out. Then Andy Carroll got a hat trick, putting the Hammers 3-2 up! Then just when Arsenal thought it was all over, Laurent Koscielny came back to score a crucial goal to save Arsenal from losing. The final score was West Ham 3 Arsenal 3.

Arsenal-Watford (4-0)

Watford again. They knocked us out of the FA Cup last month. We started well this time and within four minutes we scored a goal! It was scored by Alexis Sanchez, assisted by Alex Iwobi. The first thing that really happened was that Gabriel got injured, but he carried on playing. Then in the thirty-seventh minute we scored again. This time it was Iwobi who scored, and Sanchez assisted. Later on Iwobi nearly scored again but was denied by Gomes. Then in the forty-seventh minute Hector Bellerin shot, and it deflected off Ben Watson but it still went in. Later on Watford came so close to scoring, but the ball was headed off the line by Monreal. The first yellow card of the game was shown to Allan Nyom of Watford for fouling one of the Arsenal players. Later on Ospina pulled off an amazing save to deny Watford from scoring, then after that Mohamed Elneny was booked for fouling one of the Watford players. In the final minute Theo Walcott scored! We won! The final score was Arsenal 4  Watford 0.

Arsenal-Southampton (4-0)

It was a disappointing game because if we had won we would have been top of the table. In the first couple of minutes Giroud headed the ball and nearly scored and then the Southampton player Martina scored. And then Shane Long collided with Laurent Koscielny and his head started bleeding. A few minutes later Shane Long scored. And then Arsenal took off Campbell and replaced him with Chamberlain. Cech saved a corner but he got injured. Luckily he could keep on playing. The Southampton player Clasie went down too. Clasie went off for Romeu, then a few minutes later Fonte scored, and then Tadic came on and Ward-Prowse went off. Finally, in injury time, Shane Long scored again, and we were still in second place.

Arsenal-Sunderland (3-1)

It was a good game. Arsenal were lucky to win because we have been playing quite badly this season and we have a lot of injured players like Sanchez and Coquelin. In the game Sunderland were attacking very strongly but Campbell scored a goal. Peter Cech did some very good saves. Right before half time Sunderland got a free kick. They kicked it and it came to Giroud who tried to defend but he scored an own goal. Then it was half time, one-one. It was the second half and the ball was mostly in the middle of the pitch. When Arsenal got a counter attack it came to Giroud in the air and he headed it and it went in. It was a goal! Giroud scored for Arsenal and Sunderland! Then there where five added minutes, and in the final minute Ramsey scored and it was the end of the game.
